UTD

This is UTD, a Doom 3 Inspired Tech Demo. Im a solo dev with somwehere north of 18 months in unreal engine. Going to game dev school at 40 this autumn where I will learn Unity amongst other things. So this is kind of my "farewell for now" to Unreal Engine as Im not sure how much or if any time at all I can dedicate to it the coming two years. 2026-06-29, the date of writing, is day 24 of the project I believe. A trailer is available to view and within 6-8 weeks it will land here as a free playable demo for anyone to try. 

This was built in 45 days.

AI Generation disclosure:

As a solo dev without a budget voice acting would be a real hard no. So I use a voice changer to process the dialogue I record into the voices of multiple characters. Other than that this project has no trace of gen-AI. Im pretty comfortable with the use of an AI voice changer for this project as it is a free demo and I record all the voices myself to be processed by AI and then by me again possibly with effects or EQ.
